I’m Elizabeth Kurtz - an artist and Florida native, working in a wide range of styles and media: digital illustration, ink, watercolor, photography, and more. I focus on what inspires me, and have been commissioned to complete murals, tattoo designs, logos, t-shirt designs, and book illustrations. I’m a lifetime geek and obsessed with fantasy and sci-fi. From Star Wars and Star Trek to Marvel comics, the Wheel of Time, and Doctor Who, I love it all.

So, where did the name Sparrow2TheKnee come from? It was inspired by things I love.

Sparrows are among my favorite birds. A Bible verse tells us that we are worth more than many sparrows. They’re a constant reminder that we are precious beings in God’s eyes regardless of what happens in life. As mentioned before, I’m also an avid gamer and total geek, and love the Elder Scrolls games. As many know, the famous line from Skyrim about taking an arrow to the knee became ingrained in geek culture. With that, I combined two things that represent what I love, and that’s how the name came to be!
